Naida Zukić

Naida Zukić is a Communication and Performance Studies professor and Butoh artist.  Zukić’s aesthetic and theoretical explorations of violence and trauma discourse dwell in politico-ideological, and historical formations of subjectivity and agency.  Her most recent digital performance work positions itself amid ideological paradoxes that punctuate the body in revolt vis-à-vis theories of subjectivity and politics of human rights violations.
